Pakistan successfully tested Ghaznavi, a ground-fired ballistic missile.

Pakistan Army Department of Public Relations ISPR made the announcement on social networking site Twitter and said that the missile was capable of carrying all kinds of warheads for up to 290 km.

He said that the Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff Committee and the service chiefs congratulated the scientists and the team on the successful experience.

He further said that the President and the Prime Minister congratulated the nation on the successful experience of the missiles and appreciated the efforts of the scientists and experts.

The missile was tested at night, he said.

Remember that Ghaznavi ballistic missile HF-3 is the second name that was added to Pak Army services for the first time in 2004 but was tested only during the ongoing tension between Pakistan and India in 2002 and 2003.

The missile was developed entirely by Kahuta Research Laboratories and Sparco in Pakistan itself.

The short-range ballistic missile (SBRM) Ghaznavi is capable of carrying 290 to 320 km, as well as carrying up to 700 kg of ammunition.

It should be noted that this missile not only enhances the defense capabilities of Pakistan but also targets many nearby Indian cities including Amritsar, Ludhiana and Chandigarh.

It may be recalled that in May, Pakistan successfully tested a ballistic missile Shaheen 2 that hit the ground.

According to the ISPR, the Shaheen 2 missile has the capability to carry both conventional and nuclear weapons in the range of more than 15km.

In January, Pakistan successfully tested a ballistic missile, Nasser, from land to ground while increasing defense capabilities.

The ISPR said that the Army Strategic Forces Command launched a successful launch of the missile, which aims to test the operational and technical preparations of the Army Strategic Forces Command.

The Nasr missile is capable of targeting short distances, the Nasr missile has a high shoot and scoot system that is also capable of hitting a flying target.

This missile is well-equipped and capable of destroying enemy ballistic missiles and other air defense systems.
